I'm Matt Statler. I have spent my career in finance and accounting at a Fortune 500 company, in internal audit, treasury, and financial planning roles across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and corporate headquarters. Most of that work came down to one thing: taking operational data and turning it into numbers a decision maker can use.
I also build furniture in a shop I built myself, and I have run a couple of small businesses of my own. I know the difference between a spreadsheet that looks right and a job that actually paid.
